Companies
Companies in ODB work in 2 ways (3 if you count turning it off). You can not use it , in which case simple disable it. You can use it the odb default companies , where you assign an attribute for companies, or match it to an attribute you’re using elsewhere and track someone as a company. And you can use it with the Ahead works company accounts module , which will fully create a AW company and add the user to it.
Companies will come through when a customer is selected. The discounts applied to a customer group will be brought through and applied to a customer's orders. When creating a customer, you can search for existing companies or create a new one.Currently companies can either be disabled, use a custom company through ODB to store information against customers as a company, or plugs into the Ahead works company accounts module.
New Companies
To create a new company for a new customer you can click the create company button and create a new company before creating the customer. Additionally, you can simply add the customer to an existing group.
