Changing an admin setting has no effect

If you are changing settings in your admin dashboard and they are not taking effect then the setting may be being overwritten by a configuration lower down the hierarchy of the store structure.

In the top left hand corner cycle through the views, and websites to see if a setting has a different option.

If you do not need a different setting then tick the box to inherit the configuration from the level above
