Creating a new quote
You can create a new quote by clicking the “New Quote/Order” button in the following locations:
ODB> Orders > Create New Order button
At the top of the Order Grid page ODB > View All Orders
At the top of the Order Grid page ODB > View All Drafts
At the top of the Order Grid page ODB > View All Quotes
Sending a quote
To send a quote, create or open an existing quote, and click the send quote button.
To open a quote go to the quotes table in admin → ODB → view all quotes, and select a quote from the grid.
This will send an email with the quote in to the customers email address. This will show the products, quantities, price and subtotal for each product.
There is a checkout now button on the email that the customer can click and check the quote out on the site.
This button will log the customer in directly to their account and take them to the checkout page.
The quote is valid for 15 days by default . This can be changed generally in the odb configuration settings, and on a quote by quote basis.
Quote Email Templates
The quote email template can be viewed in Marketing > Communication > Email Templates.
To edit the quote email template
Like all Magento transactional templates if you do not specify an override the default will send.
Override the default template by adding an override to Marketing > Communication > Email Templates

Quote Expiry
The Quotes will automatically expire after 15 days. This can be changed in the ODB config settings. You may also specify a specific period per quote.

Accepting a Quote
If a customer accepts a quote, they can click the check out now link in the email and directly purchase the agreed order through the website interface with no additional interaction.
The can also select a quote from the my quotes table in the customer area.
When a customer is checking out a quote , they are locked into the address, items, quantities, prices and delivery method that you have chosen on the quote. This is to prevent the customer from making any changes that could cause issues from the business and straying from the agreed upon quote.
The may exit this by clicking the cancel quote purchase in the top right hand corner.
Managing quotes
Editing a quote
To edit a quote, from the sidebar select: ODB > View All Quotes
From the quotes screen go to the Action column, click “Select” and “Edit” from the dropdown list.
Sending the quote at this stage will save over the previous quote
Send an alternative quote
If you wish to send an alternative quote go to the Quote Grid:
ODB > View All Quotes > Click Select > Duplicate
This will create a duplicate which can be edited as desired.
Sending the quote at this stage will send another version leaving the original quote unaffected

Filtering the Quote Grid
You can filter the order grid by all of the items in the columns above under the filters tab
Sorting the Quote Grid
You can sort the columns by clicking on the titles.
Searching the Quote Grid
You can search the quote grid by the following criterion
Keyword [Product Name / SKU / Quote ID / Firstname / Lastname /Company / Email Address]
